The Impact Group option gives you a robust desktop tool to integrate
computers with telephones. It takes all the telephony functions
of your telephone and those of your team and integrates them with
your computer. This improves the efficiency of common telephone
tasks, and assists in collaboration and communication between
you and other members of your workgroup.

for Telephone Functions
The Impact Group application starts by giving you basic telephone
functions such as transferring or conferencing calls, and then
enhances them with simple, point-and-click and drag-and-drop technology.
Add to that a seamless integration with your database that lets
you preview information about the caller prior to answering the
call. Group also includes a built-in address book to store name,
phone number, notes and other information in your personal directory.
Call Management

With Impact Group software you can integrate an entire department's
activity to improve call handling response and customer service.
Users can see at a glance the call status of everyone in the group
through a colorful display of phone icons that represent each
member, along with a color indicating call status. For example,
a green phone icon means that person is busy with a call, while
a blue icon means a phone is ringing.
First Class Customer Service
This tool lets anyone within a group handle incoming calls, regardless
of who's phone is ringing. You simply drag-and-drop another co-workers
ringing telephone icon onto your answer window to take the call.
You can even retrieve a call that's on hold at another extension.

Impact Group software runs on Windows XP, 2000, NT, 98, or 95
® and connects to a Comdial phone system through your LAN
or a serial connection. No extra hardware is needed for your PC.
